Formula Alberta Ltd was employed to replace the existing 8.5m concrete girder bridge on timber substructure with a 10m SL Concrete Girder bridge with a steel substructure. This project is located on Range Road 263, near Falun, Alberta.

Formula Alberta was first responsible for the demolition of the existing bridge followed by the installation of 28 piles including wingwall, bearing and tie back piles. The abutments were constructed from SPCS Backwall and steel H-pile abutment caps. 8 – 10m concrete girders were then erected and bridgerail installed completing the bridge portion of the work. This project also included raising the existing road elevation and realigning the approach road which involved the installation of a new CSP. Formula finalized the project by installing surfacing gravel, guardrail, topsoil and seed and erosion control.
